Diaper Duty for Chris

Chris was able to keep Colton today because he got off from work at 10am this morning. I was secretly hoping that Colton would have a dirty diaper because Chris hasn't attempted another one since his first changing at the hospital! Surprise Surprise!!! I got a call from Chris around 4pm saying that Colton had a dirty diaper. Haha!! Poor Chris said that as he was changing him he used the bathroom all over the changing pad because he wasn't quite through yet. I'm anxious to see if he will attempt any more in the future or if this ruined him!

He has found his hands!!!

Colton has recenlty found his hands and he looks at them all the time!! It's just the cutest thing. He has also started to reach for things and if he can get anything in his hands he puts it straight in his mouth. Chris and I also took him this past weekend to Knoxville, TN for a friends wedding and he did great. He loved traveling and spent most of the time sleeping or looking out the windows. He is growing up sooooo fast!!!! I started back to work yesterday and it was so hard to leave his precious little face. I'm just blessed though that Chris' parents are going to keep him during the day while Chris and I are at work. I know that they will both enjoy the days spent with their newest grandson.

Deep Sea Fishing Trip

Chris and I went to the beach last month with some friends from church. The guys went deep sea fishing while the girls just relaxed and went shopping. We all had a great time, but Chris and I were sooooo ready to get home to our little boy! Here are a few pictures from that weekend.

Colton rolled over!!

Colton rolled over yesterday afternoon for the first time. I had just laid him on his belly and he rolled over onto his back. Once Chris got home from work, we laid him on his belly again and he rolled over two more times. It's the cutest little thing.

Growing Boy!

Colton is growing more and more each day! We went to the doctor last Monday and he weighted 12.7 lbs and was 24 inches long!!! He is now smiling and laughing all the time, and he has become such a good little baby.
