Squealing Boy!!

Last night I was in the kitchen making some chicken salad while Colton was watching some cartoons in the living room. After a few minutes I heard him just a squealing at the TV. I went in to check on him and he was just laughing and smiling at the TV. It was so cute!!

I was lucky enough yesterday to get to go to the movies with mom, Aunt Janice, Aunt Donna and Aunt Melinda while Chris watched Colton in the afternoon. The movie was over around 4pm and I couldn't wait to get home to my two favorite boys! As I opened the door, both Chris and Colton were sound asleep on the floor watching cartoons. It was the sweetest thing!!

Colton's Special Day!!

We dedicated Colton to the Lord on August 3rd at church. By doing this, Chris and I made a promise to the Lord that we would raise Colton up in a loving Christian family and that we would show him the love of Christ each and everyday. This was a very special day and after the service we celebrated with lunch at Nana and Big Daddy's house with the whole family. Poor Colton though was exhausted from the day's celebration and he quickly fell sound asleep on Big Daddy's lap that afternoon.

Diaper Duty for Chris

Chris was able to keep Colton today because he got off from work at 10am this morning. I was secretly hoping that Colton would have a dirty diaper because Chris hasn't attempted another one since his first changing at the hospital! Surprise Surprise!!! I got a call from Chris around 4pm saying that Colton had a dirty diaper. Haha!! Poor Chris said that as he was changing him he used the bathroom all over the changing pad because he wasn't quite through yet. I'm anxious to see if he will attempt any more in the future or if this ruined him!

He has found his hands!!!

Colton has recenlty found his hands and he looks at them all the time!! It's just the cutest thing. He has also started to reach for things and if he can get anything in his hands he puts it straight in his mouth. Chris and I also took him this past weekend to Knoxville, TN for a friends wedding and he did great. He loved traveling and spent most of the time sleeping or looking out the windows. He is growing up sooooo fast!!!! I started back to work yesterday and it was so hard to leave his precious little face. I'm just blessed though that Chris' parents are going to keep him during the day while Chris and I are at work. I know that they will both enjoy the days spent with their newest grandson.
