Weekend Fun

This past weekend, Chris and I were lucky enough to go to the Bama/Kentucky game. We had a great time tailgating with some friends and then heading over to the game. I wasn't looking forward to going to the game, but ending up going with Chris because he really wanted to go. We actually had a great time cheering on the Tide and enjoying our nachos, drinks and strawberry chills! Even though Bama nearly loss the game, it ended up being a great day! Colton spent the day with Nana while we were gone and she said that they had a great day!

Colton is changing so much lately and it's breaking my heart that he is not a little baby any more. Chris and I took him Friday night to the mall and he wore shoes for the first time. He was the cutest little boy, all decked out in his blue jeans, shirt and tennis shoes! He has now added carrots and squash to his list of foods that he eats. And I haven't found one single thing that this child won't eat. We're going to try some more fruits this week and maybe some peas and green beans next week. I'll keep you all posted.

Have a wonderful week!!!

Trying to Crawl!

Colton loves to play on his tummy, and he is wanting so bad to crawl. If he could just figure how to lift his little belly off the ground, I believe he could take off. Maybe it won't be to much longer until he is crawling around every where.

Sippy Cup Time!

Colton is now drinking apple juice out of a sippy cup and he loves it! He didn't know what to do at first but he has finally figured it out.

Night Time Stroll

Last night, I took Colton for a stroll around the neighborhood. He loved it!! He loved looking at everything and he loved sitting up in his big boy stroller. We stopped by Matt and Sarah's house for a visit and then we headed back home for dinner and a bath. I think we're going to start doing this every night before it gets cold. The weather was so nice outside last night. I just love fall weather!!

Sweet Potatoes

Colton has sweet potatoes the other day for lunch and he loved them!

The Before Picture

The After Picture

He has found his toes!!

Colton finally got his toes into his mouth!! Now whenever I am changing him, his feet go straight to his mouth!

Lazy Morning at Home

Cereal and Applesauce! YUM YUM!!!

Colton loves to eat his cereal and fruit in the morning for breakfast and at night before going to bed. Here are some pictures of him the other night while eating his cereal.

Yum Yum!! Applesauce and Cereal is his favorite!!

He loves to watch TV even when he is eating!

Daddy and Colton

Colton loves to play with his daddy! Here are a few pictures that were taken last week of the two of them playing.

Sitting Up

It's amazing how much better Colton has gotten at sitting up in just over a few days. He now can sit up without having to prop his arms in front of him for support. I can't believe how much he is changing everyday. I hate that I'm not always at home with him, but I know that he is in good hands with Chris' parents. They really enjoy getting to keep him everyday and I'm sure that they will always cherish those days spent with him.

Colton has also started eating Sweet Potatoes this past week. He is never sure about them with his first bite, but after that bite it's hard to stop him from wanting more. He now will open his mouth when he sees the spoon coming, and most of the time he will dive forward to get to the spoon faster. He still is taking 38 ounces a day of formula, but sometimes he won't even finish his bottle. (Can you believe it??) Next up, we're going to try carrots!
