Colton's First Sentence

Last Friday night, Big Daddy and Nana picked us all up to ride to Dairy Queen for ice cream. After we got our ice cream, we decided to ride into town to see the tornado damage at a few of the places we had not already seen. Colton was enjoying his ice cream and my smoothie when all of the sudden he started getting really excited. (We were close to the Hospital at this point) He started babbling non-stop and he was so excited! Then he said Chuck E Cheese and started laughing again and pointing. Poor thing, thought we were headed to Chuck E Cheese to go and play. (I actually took Colton there the day before the tornado for his birthday). I knew my little boy was going to be upset to hear that Chuck E Cheese no longer was there but to my surprise he took the news pretty good. We rolled down his window and explained to him that Chuck E Cheese wasn't there and he said Bye Bye Chuck E Cheese.

Later, on Monday afternoon, we were telling the story to family when Colton heard us and walked up to me and said, "Momma, Chuck E Cheese is all gone". My little boy said a full sentence and it was out any help at all!!!

I couldn't be more proud of him!!! We've also noticed that he is trying to say more words now and he has added a ton of new words to his vocabulary the last few days. (He recently learned how to say Big Daddy and let's just say he now has Big Daddy wrapped around his little finger. LOL)
