Favorite Christmas Movies

Here are a few of our favorite Christmas movies:

1. The Nativity Story-- I love this movie! If you haven't seen this movie, you need to rent it and watch it with the whole family!
2. Home Alone -- One of my all time favorite Christmas movies!! I still laugh every time I see this movie!
3. The Family Stone -- I saw this movie last year for the first time. Let me warn you, have your Kleenex's ready!! I love the comedy in this movie, but the ending is my favorite part!!
4. The Polar Express -- Cute Movie!!
5. The Santa Clause -- Super Cute Movie!!
6. A Christmas Story -- Ok.. So, this is Chris' favorite movie. He has to watch it every year on Christmas Eve. I on the other hand, hate this movie.
7. Christmas Vacation-- I laugh every time I think of this movie. This family cracks me up!!
8. How the Grinch Stole Christmas -- Love this movie!! I love all of the songs in this movie.
9. Elf -- Another funny Christmas movie!!! Chris and I watched part of this the other night and we couldn't stop laughing. It's too funny!

Last Night's Bad Weather

Tuscaloosa had some pretty bad weather last night with thunderstorms and tornadoes traveling through the south. Chris stayed up most of the night so that I could sleep and he watched the weather updates on TV. Around 1am he woke me up and told me that Colton and I should get in my closet (it's the safest place in our house). The tornado sirens were going off around this time, so I got Colton and we headed for the closet. Poor baby, slept the the whole thing because he was so tired. He didn't open his eyes, not even once. Millie, on the other hand was up most of the night with Chris. I don't think that she finally calmed down until around 4am this morning. She is terrified for storms and she was so scared!! I'm sure though that she will nap most of the day today, too bad Chris has to go to work because I know he is exhausted.

Teething Baby

Chris survived yesterday with Colton. He did however say that he could never be a stay at home dad!! Especially with a baby that is teething!! Colton was a trooper when the first two teeth came in, however he seems like he is in a lot more pain this go around. I've had so many people to tell me that teething tablets work good but I have yet to find them. Hopefully I can look this weekend at Wal-Mart for some. Other than teething, Colton is doing great and continues to grow more and more each day!! He is spending the day with Big Daddy today, I can't wait to see how that goes!!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping Paper!
2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial… Although I love real trees!
3. When do you put up the tree? Before Thanksgiving. I like to put up my decorations early so that I can enjoy them.
4. When do you take the tree down? After Christmas
5. Do you like eggnog? No… Just the name of it makes me want to gag
6. Favorite gift received as a child? My Barbie Doll House that My dad, Mom and PawPaw made for me.
7. Hardest person to buy for? My Brother!!! He has something negative to say about everything he gets.
8. Easiest person to buy for? Colton and My Mom
9. Do you have a Nativity scene? Yes. It’s small and I would really love to get a bigger one.
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail.. I can’t wait to see what our Christmas cards look like this year.
11. Worst Christmas gift you have ever received. Hmmm… I’ll have to think on that one.
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? All of them!!! I love Christmas Movies
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Summer Months!
14. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Turkey and Dressing and all of those yummy treats!
15. Lights on the tree? Clear Lights
16. Favorite Christmas song? Silent Night
17. Travel at Christmas or stay home? We’re staying home this year!!

Working with Mommy

Mrs. Whitaker was sick this morning so I ended up taking Colton to work with me. He was such a good little boy and played all morning long in my office. We went home during lunch and found that daddy was getting off of work early so Colton stayed at home with daddy.. I can't wait to get home tonight to hear about their day! I'm sure they are both having a wonderful day together! I'm jealous I can't be there!

N'Harmony's New Website

Check out N'Harmony's new website at www.nharmonymusic.com. They are still in the process of creating it but there are some great pictures on there from their Ireland Trip. Oh and by the way, it looks like Chris and I will be going to Ireland next year after all. They are scheduled to sing again in Ireland next May. I can't wait!!
