Chris and I took Colton to the Zoo last Friday morning. We left Tuscaloosa around 8am because we knew that if we went later on in the day, it would be too hot. Good thing we left early, because around noon it was extremely hot!
We arrived at the B'Ham Zoo around 9:30am. Colton was such a good little boy and he just stared in every direction taking everything in.

Our first stop was to visit the flamingos!

Checking out the Peacock with daddy!
Camel.. They had camel rides at the zoo, however we decided to wait to ride them another day!
We arrived at the Tiger exhibit just in time for feeding. They had dropped huge piles of hamburger meat all over the grass and rocks for the Tiger to eat.

Mommy and Colton looking at the Sea LionsWe all had so much fun at the Zoo and we are looking forward to going back sometime soon either at the end of the summer or at the beginning of Spring next year. We didn't realize it until we left that we completely forgot to see the elephants. How could we miss them?? And I also saw on their map that they have a Splash Pad with fountains for kids to play in. So next time we will make sure to see the elephants and play in the fountains!!
