Another month has come and gone and my little boy is growing up way too fast! It seems like only yesterday we were in the hospital holding him for the first time. Oh, how I miss those days of him being so tiny! However, I’m so thankful that my precious little boy is growing up and is experiencing day to day activities. It really is wonderful to see him smile, laugh and even cry. I’m so blessed that he is such a healthy baby!

Here are some highlights from the past month:

• He has added the following foods: Strawberry Banana and Apple Mix, Banana and Berries Mix, and Banana Custard.
• Still Loves Mickey Mouse!! His Aunt Valerie bought him a Mickey Mouse Stuffed Animal and he loves it! He squeals in delight every time Mickey Mouse comes on the TV
• Loves bath time! He gets so excited when he is naked because he knows its bath time. He just kicks his legs and goes crazy!
• Has a temper like you wouldn’t believe. And he will throw a fit if he is not getting his way.
• He has also started coughing (fake cough) just to get attention.
• He gets so frustrated because he can’t figure out how to crawl. He will now move his legs and dive head first forward so that he can get to his toys. He actually can move a good ways by doing this. He is also scooting all over the floor.
• Hates getting his nose cleaned and face wiped off
• Has 2 teeth (bottom front)
• Gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth.
• Sleeps better on his belly at nighttime
• Wiggles in his crib before falling asleep. He tosses and turns for at least 30 minutes now before falling asleep.
• Kicks his right leg constantly
• Loves the remote control and the phone.
• He had his first diaper rash this month
• Loves to read books
• Loves to people watch. If we are in town and I am trying to feed him, he will not eat or take his bottle because he is too busy trying to figure out what is going on around him.
• Had his first ear infection this month (right ear)
• Had his first visit with Santa!! He loved Santa and he just stared at him for the longest time!
• He had his first taste of mashed potatoes and carrots this month. However, he did not like them!! We will try again this month.
• He wears size 3 diapers and is in 6 to 9 month clothing.
• Takes 24 ounces of formula a day. He also has cereal and fruit in the morning and at night time and one vegetable and fruit at lunch and dinner. He really loves to eat!
