Chris and I took Colton last weekend to Nashville for a weekend trip. We didn't get to Nashville until 7pm Saturday night so we just headed to the hotel and Chris ran to Back Yard Burger to get us some dinner. Once we ate, we all headed to bed. We got up early Sunday and we headed to Opry Mills Mall for some Christmas shopping. For lunch we took Colton to the Rainforest Cafe. The waitress sat us right by the gorillas and I was so excited because I knew that Colton would just love them. Well who would have guessed it that he wanted nothing to do with the gorillas. He just stared at the butterfly in the middle of the restaurant the whole time! After lunch we shopped some more and then headed back to the hotel for naps. After our naps, we meet up with Tommy (Chris' friend who lives in Nashville) for dinner at the mall food court. We ate in a hurry because we wanted to walk over to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel to see all of the Christmas decorations before it got too late. The decorations were beautiful!!! Poor little Colton though was worn out and he didn't wake up until we were getting ready to leave. Monday morning we headed to ICE, How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It was freezing in there!! Since everything was made out of snow it was 9 degrees! We were all bundled up and we went through the museum as fast as possible! Check below for some pictures (It was amazing!). Our favorite part was the Nativity Scene at the end. Incredible!!! We all had a wonderful time in Nashville, but we were so glad to be back home in Tuscaloosa come Monday night!
The Nativity Scene... It's Beautiful!!
